Menopause is a chapter in every woman’s life.
And the time before, called peri-menopause is a critical window of opportunity to prepare for menopause using a natural approach to support the changes you may experience.
Where do I start?
Information is power
The time before menopause (peri menopause) is a remarkably complex time in a woman's life. There is a flow of different hormones involved.
Many women breeze through peri menopause, others have a very tough time. The list of symptoms you can experience at this time can be long and varied.
Every woman seems to have her own transition process.
Is this you?
You can’t quite put your finger on it, but you’re just not feeling like yourself anymore.
You might notice symptoms like:
Changes in your normal cycle such as heavy, painful periods, an erratic cycle
Night sweats, hot flushes and temperature regulation issues
Ongoing fatigue that doesn’t improve, even with sleep
General aches, pains and discomfort
Gut symptoms, fatigue after eating
Allergies and intolerances
Not tolerating alcohol
Anxiety and/or depression
Headaches and migraines
Nasal congestion
Dizziness or vertigo
Brain fog and poor memory
Unexplained weight gain
Inner rage
Reduced or no libido
These symptoms might seem random and sometimes intermittent. These are the early signs that your hormones are shifting as you enter your perimenopausal years.
Over time, these symptoms can become more and more frequent.
Peri menopause is a sensitive period when small problems, unless addressed, can become larger health concerns down the road.
But isn’t Perimenopause likely to start in your late 40s? For some, it can start in their late 30s and it can last 2 to 12 years- yikes! But it won't last forever.
Most people take around 5 years before they seek advice for a health concern. You might feel overwhelmed and unsure where to start. But the sooner that you act, the sooner you can be energised and feeling fabulous.
If you’re tired of simply putting up with feeling exhausted and unwell all the time, I’m here to help you turn it all around. Together, we can make a plan to put that zest back into your life.
Meet Lucinda
I am a holistic naturopath with over 30 year experience. When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me digging in the dirt and watching my beautiful garden grow.
As a child, I suffered with multiple allergies, which left me feeling constantly unwell. This experience led me into the world of holistic health, and I’ve been there ever since.
However, when I reached my 40s (peri menopause), my symptoms came back with a vengeance!
Most women don’t realize that there are strong ties between allergies, sensitivities, and perimenopause. Histamine intolerance often rears its ugly head when the hormonal rollercoaster starts in the lead-up to menopause, thanks to the changes in oestrogen and progesterone. But with some help, you can start to feel amazing again.
I love what I do and continue to study the most effective ways to support my patients.
Initial Consultation
– 60 MINUTES / $168
With your initial appointment, my goal is to get an overall picture of your current health status. Before your initial consultation, I will send you an intake form to fill out. This allows me to review your case prior to the appointment and find ways to best support you.
During your appointment, we will discuss your health history, how you’re feeling right now, and which symptoms and goals you want to tackle together. Using this information, we’ll form a treatment plan based on your main priorities.
After your appointment, I will send you a detailed email that contains all of the relevant information for the first steps of your treatment plan. This may include nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, therapeutic supplements, herbal medicine, homeopathic medicine, recipes and meal plans. I may also recommend further testing for some individuals.
Initial Consultations are done through Telehealth via Zoom or over the phone - an easy way to connect wherever you are.
Follow-up Consultation

Subsequent appointments will be as needed based on your treatment plan.
All appointments are available in person at my clinic, via phone or online. Wherever you are in Australia, I can work with you to bring your body back into balance and harmony.
